I just thought this was so cool that I had to share this morning at the last minute. Part of my morning daily routine, aside from reading and commenting on PF blogs, is reading the Huffington Post’s Third Metric section. It just starts me off in the right frame of mind each morning. Better reading good news than bad news, right?
Anyway, I came across a headline which mentioned a free course on the science of happiness. Well, that just happens to be one of my favorite subjects, so I went to the Greater Good’s website and signed up for the MOOC (massive online open course)!
Since I write about the touchy-feely side of personal finance, I think your emotions and how happy you are or aren’t play a big factor in how you spend and save. It’s like losing weight…there is a science behind it that is so easy…yet it’s so not easy to just not eat dark chocolate every day, or be left alone in the same room with a jar of peanut butter. 🙂
Anyway, I thought some of you out there might be interested. If not, just enjoy this little infographic on happiness. Cheers!
What is making you happy right now? Are you interested in learning more on the subject of happiness?
