This is part eight in a series of interviews I’ll be doing for a new segment on Budget and the Beach called Cool Careers. You always hear how you should follow your passion and do what you love. I happen to know a few people who I think are doing just that. Maybe you’ll get some inspiration for your own career.
The year I turned 40 I had made up a 40 by 40 list. 40 things I wanted to accomplish by the time I turned 40. Some of those things included being an extra on a TV show or movie. Check. Run a 10k. Check. Take part in a flash mob. Check. And take a trapeze class.
So I gathered some of my friends and we headed to Hollywood Aerial Arts in Inglewood, California.
While this video is a couple years old, I wanted to repurpose it to be part of my cool careers segment, because Ray Pierce, the Founder and Director of HAA, is really passionate about what he does for a living.
I also wanted to have an example of what my videos would look like if I started doing more video features on not just my cool careers segment, but with Budget and the Beach in general.
Hope you enjoy!
Have you ever taken a trapeze class? Would you ever consider trying it?
